The Assistant Store Manager will support store operations, customer service, and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, including helping customers, organizing and transferring merchandise, and maintaining seasonal areas. Key responsibilities also include performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, and assisting with merchandise ordering, damaged goods processing, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits/receipts), and loss prevention. The manager is expected to maintain store areas to company standards, protect company assets, adhere to safety guidelines, and ensure associates follow policies. Furthermore, the Assistant Store Manager will help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates, foster a positive and respectful environment, and ensure overall store cleanliness. This is a full-time position located at 701 W Glenwood Avenue, Smyrna, Delaware 19977. Managers may be required to provide background information for specialized licenses to sell alcohol and/or tobacco, with failure to comply potentially leading to demotion or separation.
