We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with store functions and day-to-day store activities, helping customers in a positive, approachable manner, organizing and transferring merchandise, performing opening and closing procedures, and processing corporate directives. The role also involves maintaining promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays, assisting in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for maintaining store areas to company standards, protecting company assets, adhering to policies and procedures, and helping the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates. They must ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment and maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out the trash.
