About The Position

Aimé Leon Dore is seeking a pro-active Assistant store Manager, reporting directly to the Store Manager at our LA Flagship. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for assisting the management and development of their team, while driving brand awareness and an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and retail business systems
  • Proven ability to build, lead and motivate high performing teams
  • Anticipatory and ability to take initiative with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills as well as good decision-making abilities in high pressure situations

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in driving store sales goals, ensuring the team is effectively working toward meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Assist in monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, helping to implement action plans to improve results.
  • Understand key performance drivers including visual merchandising, inventory management, traffic flow, staffing, and conversion, and support initiatives to optimise these areas.
  • Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and assisting in resolving customer concerns or escalated issues.
  • Support in making team schedules & updating for the needs of the business.
  • Support the Store Manager in leading, motivating, and managing a team of retail leaders and sales associates to maintain a positive and high-performing work environment.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a seamless customer experience across Retail and Café functions.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members, supporting skill development, individual training plans, and performance reviews.
  • Role model company values and standards through strong communication, mentorship, and consistent leadership presence on the sales floor.
  • Ensure all team members are trained on SOPs, best practices, and any new processes or initiatives.
  • Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Help ensure systems and processes are executed with the customer experience as the primary focus.
  • Consistently demonstrate and role model best-in-class customer service aligned with company standards and guidelines.
  • Assist with store budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Support inventory control through stock rotation, replenishment, and management of materials and operating supplies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies including cash handling, register procedures, brand presentation, styling, and approved language.
