The Assistant Store Manager assists in supervising store employees and participates in the day-to-day operations of the store and warehouse. This role ensures compliance with established policies and procedures, maintains the accountability and security of cashier funds, and ensures the neatness and attractiveness of store merchandise, keeping displays well-stocked. The Assistant Store Manager also assists customers with locating items and prices, explains store policy, and helps employees resolve routine problems and perform special assignments. When needed, this position assumes the responsibilities of the Store Manager.
