We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team, focusing on store operations, customer service, and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, providing positive customer service, managing merchandise from delivery to sales floor, and maintaining seasonal areas. Key responsibilities include performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, ensuring promotional effectiveness of displays, and assisting with ordering, record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits), and loss prevention. The Assistant Store Manager is also responsible for maintaining store standards, securing company assets, adhering to safety guidelines, and helping the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates. Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment, along with store cleanliness, is also crucial. Managers may be required to obtain specialized licenses for alcohol and/or tobacco sales in certain jurisdictions.
