About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager at 7 Leaves Café, you support the Store Manager in driving daily operations, developing team members, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You lead by example on the floor, help maintain product quality and service standards, and foster a positive, high-performing team culture. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about hospitality, and is eager to grow into higher levels of leadership while making a meaningful impact in their community.

Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months –1 year of customer service experience, preferably in retail or food service; prior leadership or key-holder experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work at assigned locations within the district or county, as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Possess developing leadership skills and the ability to support coaching and development of team members.
  • Have a strong team well-being and customer-focused mindset, with an understanding of sales and operational goals.
  • Be eager to learn, grow, and apply constructive feedback from leadership.
  • Able to support store operations and assist in leading the team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining established service levels.
  • Able to provide constructive feedback to team members and escalate or assist with conflict resolution when needed.
  • Show interest in developing leadership skills and growing into future leadership roles within the organization.
  • Able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to regularly lift at least 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in creating an enjoyable and welcoming experience for every customer by assisting with daily store operations, staffing, customer satisfaction, product quality, and team performance.
  • Help monitor key business indicators and the store environment to identify opportunities for improvement; assist in executing action plans to drive operational success.
  • Lead by example on the floor, reinforcing a "customer comes first" mindset while ensuring exceptional service and product quality.
  • Coach, motivate, and support team members' personal and professional growth by providing ongoing feedback, training, and accountability.
  • Assist in training team members to uphold and maintain 7 Leaves Café standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Support sales growth and operational efficiency by assisting with problem-solving related to customer experience, safety, compliance, and overall store performance.
  • Step in to manage the store in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring smooth operations and team alignment.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and goal-driven team culture that reflects 7 Leaves Café values and positively impacts the local community.
  • Collaborate with Store Managers and District Managers to support business initiatives and operational goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
