The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the management and supervision of all areas assigned by the Store Manager, adhering to company policies regarding Customers, Associates, and merchandising. This role involves learning all phases of Store operations. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for leading the entire operation of the Store to ensure that Company standards and best practices are consistently met. This includes leading Company Best Practices, maximizing productivity, analyzing Store reports, ensuring proper Associate scheduling, and complying with all regulations. The Assistant Manager also plays a key role in organizational development, expense control, maintaining a safe and secure environment, ensuring excellent customer service, upholding the personal and store brand, managing merchandise processing and in-store marketing, and implementing loss prevention strategies.
