We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, providing positive customer service, and handling customer questions or concerns. Key responsibilities include organizing and transferring merchandise, maintaining seasonal areas, and performing opening and closing procedures. The Assistant Store Manager will also process corporate directives, maintain promotional displays, assist with ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, and manage record keeping such as payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits, and loss prevention. Maintaining store standards, securing company assets, and adhering to safety guidelines are also crucial. The position supports the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, ensuring a positive and respectful environment for customers and staff. Additionally, the role is responsible for maintaining overall store cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, and trash removal.
