About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager for Pinnacle Sales Company at Jiffy Lube®, you will have a background in sales and/or customer service and be adept at dealing with people. You will receive comprehensive training through Jiffy Lube® University computer-based training and hands-on training. The primary function of this role is to provide an excellent experience for customers and oversee store operations. You will work hands-on to assist the General Manager in daily operations, including customer interaction, training, directing, and coaching employees in all operational areas. Additionally, you will be responsible for bank deposits, inventory, and cash control in the General Manager's absence. This position is crucial for the overall guest experience and meeting company goals, requiring you to provide clear direction and set a positive example of attitude, professionalism, and work ethic.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Dependable in attendance and quality of workmanship
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees
  • Ability to complete the required computer-based training (CBT) modules
  • Able to pass a drug test

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of retail/hospitality management experience is preferred
  • Previous automotive experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide an excellent experience for customers
  • Oversee the operations of the store
  • Assist the General Manager in the daily operations of the location
  • Direct staff and ensure all procedures are completed properly
  • Train, direct, and coach employees in all areas of operations
  • Interact with customers and resolve any issues
  • Handle bank deposits, inventory, and cash control in the General Manager's absence
  • Open and close the location
  • Complete required documentation as needed
  • Achieve assigned sales goals
  • Maintain facility appearance
  • Provide clear direction and set a positive example of attitude, professionalism, and work ethic
