Job Summary: The 1916 Company is seeking a full-time proactive, solutions-oriented Luxury Retail Assistant Store Manager who can provide leadership, knowledge, training, and incentives to the store personnel. This position requires previous experience in the retail jewelry, diamonds, and fine watches field. This position will work closely with the sales associates providing coaching, mentoring, and ensuring procedures are followed to maximize generation of revenue.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' retail Luxury Jewelry and Watch management experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communications abilities
  • Strong understanding of day-to-day dynamics of the retail industry
  • Jewelry and Watch Retail Management: 3 years (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for being the leader on the sales floor, managing activities of the sales associates, ensuring superior service to maximize sales.
  • Responsible for setting sales goals and helping the advisors to achieve them
  • Assist Store Manager with Monthly one on ones
  • Overseeing Salesforce tasks and leads – ensuring these metrics are met
  • Hosting daily huddle and weekly meetings with teams
  • Employees are also responsible for all activities associated with the generation of revenue by participating in sales-related activities as sales executives.
  • Responsible for maintaining store appearance and merchandise display.
  • Monitor inventories of Watches and Jewelry.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy via daily case counts and semiannual physical inventory.
  • Responsible for event support, “clienteling” and execution
  • Responsible for executing and delivering flawless client experiences
  • Assists in resolving solutions for difficult customers and complaints involving returns/exchanges and /or services
  • Coaching and Developing Others
  • Resolving Conflicts and Negotiating with Others
  • Assists in reviewing and evaluating performance and disciplinary actions
  • Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, and Subordinates
  • Coordinating the Work and Activities of Others
  • Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships
  • Drafts sales floor schedules, monitors time-off requests and overtime budget
  • The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for being available during all store hours, including weekends and evenings.
