About The Position
The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, hourly position that serves as a key holder for the store. This role acts as the manager on duty (MOD) when the Store Manager is absent or when business demands require it. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of an automotive retail service and repair store's operations, aiming to meet or exceed service standards and achieve Monro’s performance and profitability goals. A core expectation of this position is to ensure that all teammates provide exceptional 5 Star service to guests, which includes effective communication of vehicle issues and solutions, and consistently meeting guest expectations regarding time commitments and quality.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the manager on duty (MOD) in the absence of the Store Manager, or when demand requires it
- Assist in managing the operations of an automotive retail service and repair store to meet or exceed service standards
- Assist in managing the operations to achieve Monro’s performance and profitability goals
- Ensure that all teammates deliver exceptional 5 Star service to guests
- Ensure effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions to guests
- Ensure consistently meeting guest expectations for time commitments and quality
