The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day operations of the store, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures. The role involves completing daily accounting paperwork, supervising, developing, training, and disciplining hourly employees to uphold operational standards. The ASM monitors shift cash handling and inventory, assists in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variations, and maintains business records. Administrative duties include banking, invoicing, payroll, and cash management procedures like bank deposits and change orders, all while adhering to cash control policies. The position also requires maintaining store image standards, high levels of cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring store security and safety, complying with environmental guidelines, reporting issues, coordinating gasoline deliveries, engaging in promotional initiatives, and promoting high levels of guest service. The ASM must perform duties as required by company policies and procedures and any other duties assigned by the General Manager or Territory Manager.
