In 1998, we were stuck behind desk jobs we didn’t like … and we were miserable. So we quit. We tossed out business suits for bathing suits, got our wisdom teeth pulled while we still had coverage and signed up for every credit card we could. On the same day, within ten minutes of each other, we walked out of our jobs, grabbed a drink and started chasing the American Dream. Twenty years in and some things have changed, but we’re the same at our core. We’re still having a ton of fun, hanging with Real Good People, and sharing the gift of the Vineyard with everyone we can. What you’ll do: - Focus on building client relationships and community engagement in order to build repeat customers and gain new customer acquisition - Support the development of strategies to exceed financial goals - Deliver an energetic and omni-channel sales floor experience that builds brand connection, customer engagement, and sales - Motivate and measure performance of Crew Leads and Crew to increase profitability - Act as a mentor to Crew Leads and aides in their development through transparent and candid communication - Educate Crew on product information and brand initiatives to enhance the customer experience, ultimately driving sales - Build an environment that fosters open and respectful communication with Crew and headquarters partners and solicit feedback to continually improve the store experience - Network and recruit to help maintain a talent pool to fill open positions - Evaluate store operations for opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity and profitability - Support store merchandising to reflect current compass, brand initiatives and local customer needs DOR Overview: In addition to your role responsibilities, you will be asked to take on a Division of Responsibility (DOR). DOR’s are a set of distinct responsibilities that are assigned to leaders within the store to ensure clarity around execution of work and support development and growth. DOR’s are not a title or position but opportunities for individuals to progress within their role. Note – DOR’s will rotate, so that managers are proficient in all areas.
