About The Position

Responsible for providing high-end customer service and store support. Assistant manager directly oversees all aspects of operations and day-to-day routine work of rental and retail associates in store. Responsible for maintaining business standards and has increased decision-making authority. Assistant Manager acts as a knowledgeable representative of our brand and drives culture inside our retail and rental stores. Fulfills day-to-day work responsibilities for the organization as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience
  • Physically able to perform tasks that require moving up to 50lbs of weight, be able to stand at a work station for long periods of time while still being mobile at short notice.
  • Have the ability to work weekends and holidays consistently throughout the season and an average of 9 - 10 hr shift a day.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years in retail and/or rental experience - preferred
  • Knowledge and passion for talent development
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be a team player and be able to handle fast paced stressful environment
  • Possess the desire to offer the highest customer service standards to guests
  • Familiarity with rental and retail POS system - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Co-leading with a leadership team of 4 - 5 fellow Assistant Store Managers.
  • Managing a team of 10 - 40+ employees
  • Providing consistent and direct feedback, coaching, and guidance to team members.
  • Designing, executing, and tracking training plans
  • Ensuring department and staff have all necessary supplies
  • Create a rewarding environment in which to work, generate a team atmosphere
  • Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques. Managing inventory of rental and retail product.
  • Communicate ideas or issues with Store and Regional Managers
  • Manage operational schedules and payroll
  • Remain current on new industry products and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of products
  • Administrative duties
  • Other duties as assigned
