We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with store functions and day-to-day activities, providing positive customer service, organizing and transferring merchandise, and maintaining seasonal areas. The Assistant Store Manager will perform opening and closing procedures, process corporate directives, maintain promotional displays, assist with ordering, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits/receipts), and loss prevention. The position also requires maintaining store areas to company standards, protecting company assets, adhering to safety guidelines, and ensuring associates follow policies. The Assistant Store Manager will help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates, ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment. Additionally, the role is responsible for maintaining store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
