About The Position

Wally’s is seeking a strong, hands-on Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations in our high-volume retail and food service environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational standards, guest service expectations, and team performance are consistently executed across all areas of the store. Assistant Store Managers serve as Manager on Duty, helping guide the team through busy shifts while maintaining the speed, cleanliness, and organization that Wally’s guests expect. This role requires a leader who is comfortable working on the floor, supporting multiple departments, and stepping in quickly when situations require leadership. Requirements

  • Experience in retail, convenience, hospitality, or food service management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading teams during high-volume operations
  • Confident on the floor
  • Communicates clearly with team members
  • Maintains strong operational discipline
  • Building a positive and respectful team culture
  • Organized, decisive, and able to balance guest service, team leadership, and operational execution during demanding shifts
  • Flexibility to support store operations, including availability during peak business periods such as weekends and holidays
  • Extended periods of standing and walking throughout Wally’s retail and food service areas
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
