If you're a master of team building, possess a keen eye for merchandising, and relish the prospect of spending most of your time engaging with customers and driving sales, this opportunity is for you. As a Store Manager at Grandpa Joe's, you'll lead the charge of curating unforgettable experiences for our guests. From leading the team to greeting customers, your leadership with set the pace and tone of our store. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in merchandising our store to captivate and delight our guests, ensuring that each interaction leaves a lasting impression.

Requirements

  • Experienced: Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in retail management within a dynamic and hands-on environment.
  • Dependable: With our store open 7 days a week, we need reliable individuals who are available for 40 hours per week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Flexibility to work both opening and closing shifts is essential. A dependable mode of transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Outgoing Personality: We're seeking individuals who have a sense of humor and genuinely enjoy interacting with kids (actual kids and the adult kind), helping customers stroll down memory lane, and creating memorable experiences.
  • Works Well with Others: Friendly, fun, and easy-going; understands the impact of their actions on the entire team. We are a family-oriented business, meaning that we care for each other like we are family (the ones we like).

Responsibilities

  • Managing various aspects of our store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, team scheduling, training and coaching, inventory control, shift coverage, merchandising, stocking, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Leading from the front, driving sales, and cultivating a culture of excellence.
