We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, helping customers in a positive and approachable manner, and addressing their questions or concerns. Key responsibilities include organizing and transferring merchandise, performing opening and closing procedures, and processing corporate directives. The Assistant Store Manager will also maintain promotional displays, assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, handle record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits, and receipts), and contribute to loss prevention. Maintaining store areas, including a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom, to company standards is essential, as is protecting and securing all company assets. The role requires adherence to policies and procedures, including safety guidelines, and ensuring all store associates follow company policies. A significant part of the position is to help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates, fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders. The Assistant Store Manager is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
