About The Position

Assistant Managers, as part of their development, support the Store Manager in all areas outlined below and are responsible for all Primary Duties when the Store Manager is not present. Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop the strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Your role as an ASM: Manage relationships with both vendor and customers, manage talent and inspire your team, ensuring that every customer comes away with a great experience. It is up to you to ensure that each customer receives an unforgettable experience as you build relationships and inspire loyalty with a custom-fit solution for their hair and beauty needs. You will ensure that your store meets or exceeds sales goals by overseeing all store operations, including, maintaining assigned budget, controlling expenses, growing sales, managing inventory, bank deposits and occasionally cash handling and other monetary transactions. You will be trusted with Company Assets and Technology and expected to maintain accurate records as it pertains to the business. To protect customers, associates, and store assets by ensuring that all staff follows safety and security rules and procedures. You will make sure your store always looks its best with responsibility of opening and closing the store daily. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
  • At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
  • Can effectively communicate with team and management.
  • Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
  • May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Nice To Haves

  • Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.
