The Assistant Store Manager will support store operations, customer service, and team development. Key responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day store activities, providing positive customer service, and managing merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The role also involves performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining store displays, and assisting with inventory management, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention. The Assistant Store Manager is expected to maintain store standards, protect company assets, ensure adherence to policies and safety guidelines, and help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates. Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates, and ensuring overall store cleanliness are also crucial aspects of this position.
