About The Position

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for an Assistant Store Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Assistant Store Managers have the opportunity to shape our guest's experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

Requirements

  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
  • Ability to accurately read and work with a variety of computer systems.
  • Posses three to five years of previous retail management experience.
  • A sincere willingness to perpetuate the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai philosophy of Aloha and Ho'okipa to promote a warm and friendly atmosphere among staff, peers, guests and residents.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills that will help to develop our staff's character and craftsmanship.
  • Capability of multi-tasking and functioning well under pressure.
  • Able to set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
  • Possess a high work ethic and sense of integrity.
  • Works with a sense of responsibility and purpose for the roles filled within our team.
  • Has a keen eye and interest for fashion, visual merchandising and the details of merchandise presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store or Department Manager by overseeing the store's daily business operations.
  • Lead, supervise and manage the shop's employees.
  • Participate in the hiring, training and empowerment of the team.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain a positive store experience for both our guests and our staff members.
  • Present a professional image and character in appearance, words and actions.
  • Create and build positive relationships with our guests, homeowners, staff and venders.
  • Support our vender “Seasonal” Trunk Shows.
  • Ensure that all Four Season Resort Hualalai standards and policies are maintained and embraced.
  • Stay abreast of all trends related to your area of responsibility and “Benchmark” other properties for inspiration.
  • Maintain a well-organized and safe working environment.
  • Support and participate in all physical store inventories.
  • Drive sales delivery, visual presentation and merchandising standards through effective staff training.
  • Support the visual merchandising and stock management of other outlets as needed.
