About The Position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned) Assist the Store Manager with management responsibilities including training and development of employees and store responsibilities; Scheduling employees for shifts; Resolving store issues including customer concerns; Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements; Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise; Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions; and Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.

Requirements

  • Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment
  • One year experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail or convenience operation preferred
  • All offers of employment are subject to the successful completion of a criminal background check.
  • No offer of employment will be extended to anyone who has been adjudged guilty of a felony or of any crime involving a morals charge under Kansas law, the law of any other state, or Federal law.
  • Additionally, no offer of employment will be extended to those who have been adjudged guilty of furnishing alcohol to a minor two or more times in the preceding five (5) years. (Kan. Stat. Ann. § 41-2610.)
  • All offers of employment are conditional and subject to the successful completion of a criminal background check and the issuance of an alcohol server’s certificate within thirty (30) days of employment.
  • No offer of employment will be extended to those who have been adjudged guilty of supplying alcohol to a minor under the New Mexico Liquor Control Act. (60-7B-1 NMSA 1978)
  • All offers of employment are subject to the successful completion of a criminal background check, completion of an ABLE Commission approved training program, and the issuance of an employee’s license within fourteen (14) days of initial employment. (37A Okl. St. § 2-121)
