Key responsibilities also include performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional fixtures, and assisting with inventory management, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash), and loss prevention. The Assistant Store Manager is expected to maintain store standards for cleanliness and organization, protect company assets, ensure adherence to safety guidelines, and support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates. The position requires fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment for all customers, associates, and leaders, and includes general store cleanliness tasks.
