About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager is a leadership role responsible for managing daily service, sales, and operational objectives at a TD Bank store location. This position focuses on leading a team to enhance customer relationships through personalized service and advice, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and achieving performance goals. The role requires a strong understanding of financial products and services, as well as the ability to coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of related experience required.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide legendary customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sales and operational management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Previous consumer and residential lending experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of TD Bank products and services.
  • Demonstrated organization, interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Shows proficiency with expense management.
  • Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day service, sales, and operational objectives in the store.
  • Lead a team to achieve individual and store objectives for customer experience and performance goals.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to ensure effective delivery of personalized service and advice activities.
  • Oversee complex sales advice activities and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Drive and reinforce advice activities through coaching and team observations.
  • Handle critical and high-risk issues, determining appropriate resolutions.
  • Create an engaging environment for team interactions with customers, actively listening and addressing their needs.
  • Establish strong partnerships between colleagues handling customer transactions and platform bankers for effective referrals.
  • Lead customer service activities and support customers through challenging times.
  • Maintain optimal colleague scheduling to meet customer demands and compliance requirements.
