About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager's absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification

Nice To Haves

• Certified Parts Professional Certification
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak retail business hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates.
• Make sure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner.
• Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently.
• Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Ensure that Zipline messages are communicated, and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed as assigned.
• Make sure all team members are complying with company policies.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including performing day end procedures.
• Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
