About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager at Zales plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales and profit goals while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This position involves training and developing team members, enforcing company policies, and contributing to a positive store atmosphere. The role is designed for individuals who are dynamic, driven, and passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

  • At least one year of retail experience, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
  • Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, and using basic computer software and hardware.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
  • Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit projections.
  • Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
  • Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation.
  • Recruit and select team members.
  • Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other operational and strategic duties as required.
