About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager at Claire's, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales and achieving retail targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth store operations. You will also assist in merchandising the store effectively and lead the team by training and coaching them for career development. Additionally, you will receive training for ear piercing, which is part of the role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of retail management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to analyze sales reports and solve problems strategically.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Ability to operate the POS system.
