The Assistant Manager Trainee is responsible for establishing and maintaining Customer Service and is accountable for the operation of the c-store including gas pumps, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, employee management, and managing operating costs and shrink. The role involves ensuring outstanding customer service, controlling expenses and shrink, managing merchandise stock and perishables, ensuring employee compliance with policies and certifications, accurate money handling and POS operation, maintaining operational excellence, preparing daily reports, conducting fuel surveys, evaluating employee performance, covering shifts, and traveling to other district locations as needed.
