We're seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. The Assistant Store Manager will assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities, help customers in a positive, approachable manner, and address any questions or concerns they may have. Responsibilities include organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor, ensuring seasonal areas of the store are maintained, performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays, assisting in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention. The role also involves maintaining areas of the store to company standards, protecting and securing all company assets, adhering to policies and procedures, supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, and ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders. Additionally, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
