About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager at Nike, you will play a crucial role in leading and coaching your team to deliver exceptional customer service while driving store growth strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers and fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for your team. This position requires a passion for sports and retail, as well as the ability to manage various store functions effectively.

Requirements

• Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• Three years of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
• Able to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team that helps keep all store functions running seamlessly.
• Ensuring your store is staffed by attracting, assessing, and onboarding future teammates.
• Equipping store employees with tools needed to succeed in their day-to-day responsibilities.
• Leading your store's team and business results/critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people leadership.
• Managing product life cycle from stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
