About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager at Claire's, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in driving sales and achieving retail targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth store operations. You will also be responsible for maintaining commerciality through effective merchandising and leading the store team by assisting in their training and development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year retail management experience.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Understanding of the importance of customer service.
• Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem solve.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stoop, extend reach, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Ability to operate POS system.
