About The Position

My Sister's Closet has been a trusted name in luxury consignment since 1991. We offer a curated selection of designer clothing, handbags, shoes, and accessories, providing consignors a way to earn extra cash and shoppers the opportunity to find high-end fashion at exceptional prices. In 2001, we expanded our offerings with Well Suited for Men, specializing in luxury men's clothing, shoes, and accessories. Later, we introduced My Sister's Attic, where you can discover fine interior and exterior furniture, home decor, and art. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will serve as a representative of our Brand, working closely with the Store Manager to guide and enhance team performance, establish strong client connections and champion sales targets to ensure exceptional client experience. In this capacity, you'll collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies. Your strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities will ensure that every client interaction aligns with our Eco Chic Consignments commitment, fostering brand loyalty and reinforcing our standing in the luxury market. This is a full time position Wage is based on experience We Offer Rate + Eligible Commissions

Requirements

  • At Least 2 years prior experience in retail store management or leadership role required.
  • A positive, outgoing, high-energy personality.
  • Strong leadership skills-loves to mentor and develop key strengths within your team.
  • Communication & critical thinking skills.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Gmail, Google Drive) which include POS systems.
  • Required to work weekends, open and close shifts are expected. This position requires standing for long periods, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting at least 50+pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in achieving and exceeding the store's sales goals.
  • Lead by example by showing excellent customer service behavior and coaching staff to achieve same results.
  • Resolve customer issues while maintaining exemplary customer service.
  • Assist Store Manager in hiring, training, motivating, and retaining quality employees.
  • Assist the Store Manager in evaluating employee's performance goals.
  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures including daily paperwork and other operational tasks.
  • Protect store assets by bringing any unusual incidents to the Store Manager or Executive Mgt. team.
  • The Assistant Store Manager will always ensure the store maintains cleanliness and its aesthetic view.
  • Enforce the company's policies and procedures.
