About The Position

As a Lead, Operations, you will oversee the daily operational functions of the store, ensuring back-of-house processes run efficiently and effectively. You'll lead key areas including freight flow, inventory management, technology utilization, and backroom organization while supporting a clean and organized store environment. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, coaching team members on best practices, and ensuring alignment with business goals-all while maintaining a seamless experience for both customers and employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail merchandising and supervisory experience
• Ability to work effectively using inventory management systems, and POS cash register
• Ability to lead by example and work to promote a strong teamwork-centered environment
• Proven time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekend, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store opening and closing operations and executes freight flow processes
• Support all facility related issues
• Ensure team members follow operational procedures for freight, price changes, and promotional activities
• Oversee technology utilization in operations, ensuring team proficiency
• Implements processes to optimize backroom organization and inventory flow
• Oversee inventory movement and accuracy by managing freight flow, dock-to-floor processes, and exception reporting
• Coach team on stock replenishment policies and procedures
• Ensure operational efficiency is balanced with high-quality customer service
• Use reporting to track operational KPIs and drive efficiencies
• Develop process improvements to enhance productivity and operational execution
• Facilitate trainings for company programs, procedures, and initiatives
• Support store leadership to align operations with business goals
• Resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure team members are supported
