About The Position
The Assistant Starbucks Manager is responsible for maintaining an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with an emphasis on providing fast and friendly customer service. This role involves assisting customers by making product suggestions, filling special orders, and responding to incoming calls appropriately. The Assistant Manager will engage in suggestive selling and other sales techniques through various channels, including telephone and in-store interactions. Additionally, the position requires specific knowledge of duties performed by all department employees and oversight of all department duties such as preparation, brewing, and serving food items. The Assistant Manager will implement proper and efficient product preparation and packaging techniques, operate related equipment, and maintain food safety standards. Responsibilities also include scheduling, supervising, training employees, and preparing sales and inventory reports.
