About The Position

The Assistant Site Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Site Coordinator in overseeing all on-site logistics, with an emphasis on administrative responsibilities. The Assistant Site Coordinator supports the on-site team to deliver impactful and fun after school enrichment experiences. This position includes leading daily meal logistics, field trip logistics, and events, and serves as the next point of contact in communicating with parents, community members, administration, and staff. The role requires ensuring students are always in a safe environment (physically and emotionally) and promoting an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces diversity for all program participants, staff, and families. The Assistant Site Coordinator will also coordinate snacks and meals with food services vendors, track compliance requirements, and build collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance.
  • TB Test clearance.
  • First Aid & CPR certification (provided by WR).
  • 6 months of experience supervising or leading a team and/or a group of children in a school recreational setting OR 6 units in child development.
  • Ability to use a smartphone for work-related business.
  • Must successfully pass an assessment test evaluating skills in math, reading comprehension, and spelling.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Coordinator in overseeing on-site logistics.

  • Implement site protocols, safety regulations, and WR procedures.
  • Track compliance requirements and submit documentation accurately.
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Support the development and planning of culminating activities.
  • Attend off-site field trips if the Site Coordinator is unavailable.
  • Participate in staff development trainings as required.
