About The Position

Assist the Shift Supervisor in supervising daily shift operations, including personnel coordination, safety, production, work regulations, and quality compliance. Support cost control initiatives, contribute to improving production output and yield, and assist in employee skill training and development.

Requirements

Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and/or Mandarin. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
At least 1 year of manufacturing experience and/or relevant training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods.
Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting to 50 pounds.
Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
Visual acuity including but not limited to: a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded. b. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions. c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships to see objects where and as they are. d. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors. e. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS - Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software.
Proficient in all measurement equipment’s' user instruction.
Proficient in SPC statistic skill, Understand production control, quality report, statistical analysis method.
Proficient in TS16949、ISO14001、OHSAS18001 quality system requirements.
Have tech training skills, be able to lead and promote fellows.
Been through systematic training on lamination about processing, quality and equipment operating.
Been through factory cost management training.
Been through TS16949 quality system training.
Been through Quality Five Main Tool Training.
Been through systematic 5S/TPM/IE management training.
Been through basic management skill training like systematic communication, stimulation and associate relationship management.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Assist the Shift Supervisor in managing production quality and cost and support the monitoring and control of KPIs to fulfill company requirements.
Implement pre-shift meeting regulations and report production, quality, and work regulation issues to the Shift Supervisor.
Responsible to solve production issues, organizing petronels to solve problems.
Supervise the preparation of each position before production, Monitor work regulations, quality, safety. Make sure that operators will work according to 3 operation instructions.
Assist in preparing and delivering initial training, formal training, and multi-position training, and support implementation evaluation follow-up.
Collect shift production data, analyze shift production and quality status, report to shift supervisor.
Implement 5s and visionary management on-site. Keep safe and clean environment. Keep items in their positions.
In case of emergency, follow the instructions in emergency plan.
Assist in maintaining quality documents and records and support the supervision of equipment and tools in the plant.
Support the identification of workplace environmental factors, hazard resources, and control measures, and report findings to the Shift Supervisor.
Strictly implement the regulations of comprehensive management system.
Take care of sorting and storage of own waste.
Other duties as assigned
