Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, including direct security experience in a resort/casino environment or law enforcement/military.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Must successfully complete and pass a CPR/AED response simulation.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Acquire an alcohol awareness card.
  • Provide a valid driver's license at the time of employment.
  • Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service, effectively addressing guest concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner, while maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a resort or hotel environment, including knowledge of guest services standards, property layout, and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee security officers and dispatchers, including scheduling, work assignments, station coverage, and performance evaluations.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams of both security officers and dispatchers through interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Oversee guest and employee safety by implementing and enforcing company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in onsite investigations and coordinate security-related processes.
  • Address guest questions and concerns promptly, either personally or by directing them to the appropriate department or management.
  • Respond to emergencies and threats, document incidents, and ensure proper escalation for reporting and resolution.
  • Ensure employee accident reports are accurately completed and filed for workers' compensation claims.
  • Supervise dispatchers, ensuring effective communication and coordination between field officers and dispatch operations during incidents and routine duties.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
