Requirements

  • Outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Enjoy hosting others
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred
  • Two years supervisory experience
  • Two years prior cleaning and/or janitorial experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
  • Must speak English
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Proven guest service skills and experience
  • Proven leadership skills: a role model who leads by example
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in a noisy environment
  • Mobility requirements include bending, pushing, pulling, overhead lifting, turning and reaching
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Fostering a fun environment
  • Being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
  • Promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events
  • Ensuring efficient staffing levels managing hiring, promotion, demotions and termination decisions
  • Maintaining communication between departments to include trading information between shifts
  • Ensuring overall cleanliness and guest service both internally and externally
  • Overseeing department and shift specific training for all department and areas zones
  • Ensuring that keys, pans and brooms, and equipment are checked in and out accurately
  • Ensuring equipment is returned clean and ready for next user and holding staff accountable for such
  • Serving as EVS liaison in committee meetings and leading such when requested
  • Creating and posting weekly schedule, at least one week in advance
  • Managing overtime to ensure that it is scheduled, monitored, communicated and approved by the manager
  • Ensuring that performance reviews are completed and presented in a timely manner
  • Approving employee's payroll hours daily by each applicable shift
