About The Position

Paramus Chevrolet, part of the VIP Automotive Group, is hiring an Assistant Service Manager to join our high-volume, fast-paced service department.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Service Advisors ready to take the next step or current Assistant Managers looking for strong income potential and growth.

Requirements

• Automotive experience required (Service Advisor, Team Lead, or Assistant Manager)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to upsell services and drive revenue
• Organized, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude

Responsibilities

• Support daily service lane operations and assist in running the department
• Coach and develop Service Advisors to increase sales and CSI
• Ensure a smooth, professional customer experience from check-in to delivery
• Review repair orders, estimates, and ensure on-time vehicle delivery
• Help drive maintenance and repair sales through MPI, quoting, and follow-up
• Assist in resolving customer concerns quickly and professionally
• Monitor special order parts and coordinate with Parts Department
• Follow up on declined services and lost sales opportunities
• Ensure customers are scheduled for future service before leaving
