What a Typical Day Could Look Like As an Assistant Service Manager, you'll be an integral part of our maintenance dream team, working alongside the Service Manager to ensure our community is always in tip-top shape by providing support and guidance to the service team while ensuring the seamless operation and meticulous upkeep of our community. You'll be a master of all trades, a mentor to our Service Technicians, and a champion of resident satisfaction by responding to resident service requests with urgency and a smile, demonstrating your commitment to exceptional customer service. You are the Repair Pro! Diagnose and troubleshoot complex maintenance issues, devising and implementing swift, effective solutions that showcase your technical expertise! Perform repairs and replacements with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every job is done right the first time! You are the Team Mentor! Share your knowledge and passion for the trade as you assist in training, mentoring, and supervising Service Technicians! Oversee work assignments to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards! You are a Service Specialist! Swiftly respond to resident service requests to demonstrate your commitment to exceptional customer service and build strong relationships! Requirements

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in apartment home repair, including advanced knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of maintenance professionals.
  • EPA and HVAC certifications are required.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and a positive resident experience focused mentality.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including on-call for emergencies.
  • Valid driver's license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
