WE LOVE OUR WORK. The Fairbanks assistant server is responsible for keeping the dining room clean and assisting servers in providing a high level of guest service.

Requirements

• Must be age 21
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience related to the nature of the position
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to communicate with internal and/or external guests
• Certificate of Food and Service Sanitation/willing to obtain
• Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
• Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
• Observes local health and sanitation codes
• Makes coffee and tea as required
• Performs all assigned side work
• Assists servers in garnishing and decorating dishes preparatory to serving.
• Demonstrate a willingness and ability to deliver quality guest service to external and internal guests
