About The Position

The New York State Senate is seeking a full-time Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms. Duties include but are not limited to keeping order during the Senate Session, maintaining security in the State Capitol, and all Senate offices, and protecting the members of the Senate.

Requirements

• Law enforcement or military experience
• High school degree or equivalent
• Experience monitoring large crowds
• Current active shooter training (a plus)
