About The Position

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for an Assistant Security Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams’ have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required. The Assistant Security Manager helps manage and supervise the day to day security forces for Four Seasons Resort Lana’i, Sensei Lana’i, and all other Four Seasons Lana’i entities to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.

Requirements

  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States (unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at another Four Seasons location as they may qualify for a L-1 Visa sponsorship)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
  • Weekend and Holiday availability required.
  • Skilled problem solvers with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills as this role has large amounts of contact with guests, local law enforcement and other hotel personnel.
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a vital member of the Security Team, maintaining a safe and secure environment for relaxation and business activities
  • Establish, promote, and maintain hotel security and property protection standards
  • Oversee and support the 24-hour security team to provide consistent coverage and response
  • Lead daily operations of the Security Team, including staffing, training, and team development.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, ensuring proper documentation and coordination with management and law enforcement.
  • Conduct property patrols, safety audits, and risk assessments, implementing strategies to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees
  • Maintain visibility and build positive relationships with guests and staff
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, legal requirements, and Four Seasons security standards
