The Assistant Security Account Manager is responsible for supporting the Account Manager in overseeing security operations at a designated site, ensuring compliance with post orders and client instructions. This role involves supervising security personnel, managing access control, and maintaining effective communication with clients and staff. The position requires a proactive approach to security management and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

  • Assist the Account Manager with all supervisory, training, and operations functions at the assigned post.
  • Coordinate all aspects of executing the security contract at the assigned location.
  • Assign work tasks to Security Professionals and direct their work throughout the day.
  • Supervise, motivate, coach, and train Security Professionals, evaluating their performance and making recommendations regarding assignments.
  • Maintain and update the Post Order manual and ensure the post is properly maintained, cleaned, and organized.
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate new employees, providing on-the-job training as needed.
  • Oversee all reports, logs, and communications generated by the Security Department.
  • Manage and supervise all sub-units within the Security Department, such as fire control room and command center.
  • Respond to minor incidents and ensure appropriate action is taken, with reports completed in a timely manner.
  • Identify personnel problems and forward issues to the Account Manager or Field Supervisor as appropriate.
  • 5 years or more in security and/or TWIC site environment experience.
  • Clean Louisiana driver's license.
  • Ability to pass DISA drug screen: hair, urine, and BAC test.
  • TWIC card (no receipts).
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Experience working outdoors in various elements.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three to five years of professional-level experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
  • College education or business classes.
  • Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry.
  • Ability to write effective and concise reports in neat, legible handwriting.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and email.
  • Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance.
  • Enrollment in the company's 401(k) or Supplemental Income Plan, subject to eligibility requirements.
  • Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days.
  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
