The Assistant Scout Executive serves as the manager and operating officer of the districts and is responsible for the effective organization, operation, and promotion of the council program within the districts through the district executives. The role involves working with the chairs and commissioners of the district committees and commissioner staff to fulfill their functions and facilitate optimum collaboration between the district and the board.
