The Ocean Science Department at the Roenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric & Earth Science at the University of Miami has an exciting full time position for an Assistant Scientist. The Assistant Scientist supports long-term, NSF-funded ocean biogeochemistry programs by leading essential laboratory operations and high-precision chemical analyses. The position ensures continuity of the Dissolved Organic Carbon Consensus Reference Material (DOC-CRM) program and supports NSF GO-SHIP observational commitments. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Assistant Scientist contributes to data interpretation and peer-reviewed publications.
