About The Position
Children of America is hiring an experienced Assistant Director for our Childcare Center / Preschool. This leadership role is ideal for candidates with experience in daycare management, early childhood education, and childcare center operations.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development
- 6+ months experience in a licensed daycare, childcare center, or preschool
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and childcare management systems
- Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience in childcare leadership, assistant director, or lead teacher roles preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of a licensed childcare center
- Ensure compliance with state licensing and childcare regulations
- Supervise and coach teachers in infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-k classrooms
- Support staff scheduling, enrollment growth, and parent communication
- Maintain high-quality early childhood curriculum implementation
