About The Position

Job Summary: The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the Sales Manager in supervising and motivating the salespeople as well as promoting and encouraging strategies to sell RVs while maintaining the highest level of honesty and customer service. Supervisory Responsibilities: Assist with managing sales staff in the absence of the Sales Manager. Assist with training new sales staff in all aspects of their job in the sales department. Uphold and enforce RV Value Mart, Inc. polices. Attend and provide input at weekly sales meetings. Fill in for the Sales Manager in their absence. Fill in for the F&I Manager in their absence. Provide excellent customer service and ensure that sales staff is providing excellent customer service. Ensure that all customers that need assistance are being assisted. Duties/Responsibilities: In addition to supervisory responsibilities the Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for the following duties: Keep a positive work environment in the sales department. Complete delivery paperwork for customer as needed. Get customer financing approved prior to leaving the dealership on all deals you are involved in. Ensure the north lot is organized and presentable for the best customer experience. Ensure inventory at the north lot is in clean and presentable condition. Ensure the building is open and closed at the appropriate business hours. Ensure units doors and compartments on the used lot are closed at the end of the day. Ensure unworked leads, dormant leads and overdue events are handled by sales team in a timely manner. Call all quotes that have not been closed and see we can close up the deals. Properly document all customer communications in the CRM. Coordinate with the Service Department to ensure that any repair needed on lot inventory is completed. Assist in closing deals at the north location making sure to contact each customer that is brought in to the sales office. Act as Salesperson as needed to accommodate customer needs. (Commission will not be paid for any deals in your name.) Price all used units as needed and directed by the Sales Manager. Submit end of day summary to Ownership/Leadership team as needed. Assist in distributing leads within the CRM to sales staff immediately as needed. Checking periodically throughout the day to ensure they are distributed in a timely manner. Ensure the north lot is properly staffed during operating hours. Asst in coordinating closings and deliveries with the service department. Ensure cleanliness of the north lot property and report any required maintenance to Owners/Senior Leadership team Walk units being to be delivered on the days you are covering for the Sales Manager to ensure we are delivering everything we promised to the customer.
