About The Position

Craftworks USA is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales/Estimating Manager for our rapidly growing Casework and Millwork division located in Oakdale, PA. This role involves managing the schedule for our estimating team, assessing opportunities and workload, tracking new opportunities, focusing on sales and client interaction, estimating and proposal creation, translating architectural drawings, working with subcontractors, developing written proposals, and traveling to job sites to build relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience estimating casework and managing lower tier estimators on projects over $1 million
• Experience in driving sales and developing client relationships
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digitized blueprint software
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Understanding of basic construction methods regarding architectural millwork
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Managing the schedule for our estimating team, scheduling and assigning projects to team members
• Assessing opportunities and workload of the team to ensure timely and accurate completion
• Tracking new opportunities and backlog of proposals for proper follow-up
• Focusing on sales, negotiation, and client interaction to close deals
• Estimating and proposal creation to support the team
• Translating and interpreting architectural drawings for compliance and standards
• Working with subcontractors to determine install and subcontracted work and associated costs
• Developing written proposals and pricing for review and presentation
• Traveling to job sites and customer offices to develop and support relationships
