About The Position

Established in 1973, The Daily Catch is a family-owned Sicilian-style seafood and pasta restaurant group and a wholesale seafood distributor based out of Boston’s Fish Pier. Our Takeout Window is a fast-casual concept focused on New England classics — fried fish, lobster rolls, and seafood pastas — serving guests quickly for takeout and delivery. We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager who own and execute the day-to-day operations of our quick-service restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership role—you’ll be on the line, in the window, and setting the pace for the team every shift. The ideal candidate comes from a strong QSR background and brings systems, structure, and a high standard of execution.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a leadership role in quick service or fast-casual
  • Experience with high-volume operations and team leadership
  • Strong understanding of food cost, labor, and inventory systems
  • ServSafe Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations: staffing, flow, food quality, and speed of service
  • Work all stations (fry, grill, sauté, prep, cashier) during peak hours
  • Train, coach, and hold a team of cook/cashiers accountable
  • Support scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost control
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked workspaces
  • Ensure food safety, consistency, and portion control standards
  • Communicate clearly with ownership and kitchen leadership
